From his vantage point away from the crowds Rouchue could just make out Amity from her unique chimeric markings, she was conversing with the mare who had bumped into Rou earlier but neither seemed particularly animated so maybe everything was ok after all? Too bad that was wishful thinking, even at this distance Rouchue could make out the change in the rogue mare’s posture, from somewhat friendly to defensive. The cloaked stallion examined all her exists should she try and make a run for it, luckily most of them lead right to him so he could easily stop her. He readied himself, keeping hidden in the deep shadows of the rocks however all was not to plan, starting off with the fact that the unknown mare made no move to run. The highly strung stallion was getting bored simply standing there so the when a strange stallion approached the little huddle it was perhaps a saving grace. Screw this! I’m not waiting here while Amity is surrounded by strange, possibly dangerous horses! Rou thought.
With the swift confidence gained from years of exploring the tunnels Rouchue made his way quickly over the rocky ground back into the tight squeeze of the market. Slipping through the crowds that sort to push him in the opposite direction the skewbald horse managed to reach Amity’s side with grace.
“There a problem here?” His words were perhaps suspicious but he smirked at the unknown mare who had so smoothly brushed past him earlier and kept an amiable smile on his lips.

Jonah
Feeling the familiar nudge of the one she'd came with, she glanced to her side and smiled as he laid a kiss on her temple. "ah well, this is just- actually don't recall her name.." She explained. Truthfully she was rather relieved Velox had found her, though at the same time, she felt she could have gotten her way out of it like always. Hearing him mention the idea of a wedding made her want to laugh, though she could admit it was a good hoax and was believable. "awe you think so baby?" She said happily, looking up at him, a devilish grin crossing her face though was only visible to him.
Another face appeared before them, one from earlier. The unicorn she'd brushed against. "Ah your friends back," she said to the little mare, though hearing his question, she grew suspicious of what he knew as well. If they were conspiring together this could mean more trouble than she had thought. Velox and her made quite the team so slipping away from them shouldn't be terribly hard. If they were unable to leave the way they came, it may take some time to find a way out of the tunnels.
"Nothin' wrong, your lady was just wanting to know if we'd like to see some collars." Jonah said, taking the subject away from any theivery.

Amity | Breim | Maker
It would seem that you have respect for no one at all then, which isn't at all surprising to me if you're stealing from a neighbor of all horses to begin with. Amity thought to herself with an inward sigh. This mare was the kind of horse that Amity normally liked to pretend didn't exist, she preferred to believe that every horse had goodness inside them even though she knew it wasn't true at all. The little Arabian mare didn't so much as twitch under the mare's narrowed eyes and was about to rebuff her once more when a stallion approached the mare and laid a kiss on her face. Amity listened with perked ears as he spoke casually to the mare, then to her personally. It would seem that these two horses took her as a fool and didn't know when their jig was up. Amity's crimson eyes had never lied to her before, well...unless she was high that is. But she hadn't smoked that day, so that was out of the question. That mare had most definitely taken that necklace. Before she had to come up with a reply to the 'couple', she felt a familiar body brush her side. Rouchue had returned, and she was actually quite relieved. These two didn't seem like they were too keen on running yet anyway...plus two is better than one right from the get-go. They seemed content with continuing their attempt to use their silver tongues and slither their way out of this. Admittedly these horses would be superior dealers of her Fauna since they would seem rather believable to the un-Blessed equine, but stealing from one of her own comrades just wouldn't be tolerated by the kind hearted mare. But still, she was growing uncomfortable being around possibly dangerous horses so she decided to cut to the chase. "Normally I would be more than happy to show you to my works, but I'm afraid I can't do that today because I'm rather afraid you might steal one, or possibly more. I'm sure you're both rather successful at what you do, but my eyes haven't told me any lies before and I watched you" she gestured to the mare with the piercings as she continued, "swipe a necklace from a dear comrade of mine. If you still believe my accusations are unfair, I'm sure you won't mind meeting a Guard friend of mine who wouldn't mind checking your bag. If I'm wrong, I'll pay for my false accusation. If I'm correct however, you'll find yourself trapped down in these tunnels without knowing when or if you'll ever see the light of the sun again. Or if you'd like to avoid this all together, just give me what you both have stolen from this herd and I'll escort you out of the tunnels without another word or mention of you to the guards. It's your choice." she finished with a nod of her small head. She wished to avoid as much conflict as possible and keep the peace, but she wasn't aware of how much longer the pair of thieves' docility would last. Despite how much reality she was spewing at the thieves, Amity still seemed rather relaxed.

VELOX His friendly grin sank as his eyes narrowed; his muscles tensed as the new stallion approached, a septum much like Jonah's strung through his nose. He gave the unfamiliar horse a curt nod, acknowledging his presence before he took another step towards the smaller mare. His presence was overbearing next to her, as he stood, at least, a foot taller than she at the withers. The mare was unusually calm, he could see it in her eyes - a vivid and unnatural blood red. He let out a soft exhale and the mare's forelock billowed to the side, "I don't mean to take this as a personal assault; however, I am - and the fact that you would so rudely object to our interests is some of the least professional services I have been offered in years. Quite a terrible first impression to lend miss," He looked to both the newcomer and the smaller mare before lowering his neck to match her gaze, a mocking pout carefully balanced on his lips, "I'm afraid we're going to be taking our business elsewhere after this." At that, he stepped back. He looked down at Jonah, a roguish smirk taking the place of his frown. "Let's get going love, it's about time for dinner - and after I figured afterwards, I could give you a little treat... " He let his muzzle tickle her neck as he eased up to her neck, a mischievous glint shone in the corner of his eye as he gave the new stallion a wink. He whispered in her ear, his voice rough and breathy, just loud enough for her. Only her. "Three options Jonah: we frame them, leave them now, or turn ourselves in and get lost in the crowd.." He nibbled at the corner of her ear, a sly grin still plastered on his face. "So one, two or three? Unless you have another idea?"Words: 320 Post (8) *velox is rated pg 13 - parental guidance advised

Lynx | Tie | Breim
The little mare had very much hoped for the help of her new friend and was therefore even sadder as he denied her the same. Nevertheless she nodded understandingly - she knew all too well that her stupidity and its consequences were her own fault and that she had to get out of the mess all by herself. So she slap on a smile again and gave it to the stallion in front of her. "I wish you still a wonderful day." Lynx herself had to work willy-nilly through her entire list again and see what she could find again. As a result of this, the final offer from the tall animal came in useful to her. Immediately Lynx was smiling from ear to ear and nodded again - this time really eagerly. "I will wait for you!" And so her dialogue partner disappeared and the Cremello remained alone. She couldn't help but to push forward her lower lip to slightly pout. He had not even told her his name! She sighed and looked again at the place where she had lost all her belongings a little while ago. Nothing... "Oh.... if I could only borrow Argus’ eyes..." Lynx muttered desperately, before she started obediently waiting for her unknown friend - always in the hope that he came around the next corner every moment with all her lost belongings.
It took quite a while until Lynx realized that it was silly to wait for the return of the stallion as long as the night had not yet dawned. She had by now compared the list with her actual purchases and calculated how much she owed her mentor. Now she was determined to decamp again and with the remaining money, at least to get what was possible for her and then hurry to trudge back home - just as she was doing it right from the beginning. She did not want to waste more time and started running straight.

Rouchue kept his face amiable but ashen, simply choosing to listen as Amity and the two strangers conversed. He couldn’t help the indulgent smirk that crossed his lips at his Breim companion’s sharp words spoken with such serene assurance but as the new stallion moved closer and closer Rou could felt his muscles tense beneath his bi-coloured coat, he could detect the mocking tone in the rogue’s voice and he did not like it. Even if the grey equine had intended to be surreptitious in his communication with his friend Rouchue could guess that he was whispering into the mare’s ear as he nibbled on it, what he was saying of course Rou could not figure but it likely did not bode well for the two Breimians.
“Look here Chuckles, either you can tell us exactly what the hell you two are doing here or my friend and I will scream so loud they will hear us as far as the Southern Gulf. So which’s it gonna be?” His tone was impatient and gruff, betraying the anger he felt at the stranger’s treatment of Amity.

Jonah
Finding Velox's words soothing as he started to asume control over the situation, she started to relax. Again though the mare butted in, abrasive and brash with her commentary, obviously having no real experiance with confronting anything. Though she couldn't help but wonder how she was so certain. Their lies were solid and undoubtably couldnt be seen through so easily.
Feeling her companions muzzle glide against her coat made her shiver under his touch. As he reached her ear, she smirked at his actions, guessing she'd have her own fun she pressed herself against him for the moment. Jonah listened to his speak, hearing the options he thought through. She knew this place, and knew they were not kind to those caught stealing, but the possessions she now carried were hers, and she refused to give them up so easily. With a sigh she flicked her ear twice to signal his second option. To flee when they had an opening. She was quick and could navigate her way through this place she was sure of it. But to run from a confrontation was unsettling, knowing eventually she could have gotten out of it one way or another.
"I'd say darling don't you think?" She mumbled back to him in nothing above a whisper. The noise of the bustling market place had helped conceal her words. "Just follow me on the way.." Jonah added after a moment. Glancing back to the 2 that had confronted them, the sudden outburst from the unicorn was, well, unexpected. "Look, why don't you calm down alright? An we can sort this out." She said back to them, hoping to obtain their attention away from alerting any authority or attracting anyone else.
For a few moments her eyes shifted around. Looking for an opening, a gap in the crowed they could slip through. She caught sight of the labyrinth a ways down, wondering if she could remember her way through.

VELOX
His nerves shook with excitement, concealed only by a lazy smile. "I'd follow you anywhere." He replied to Jonah, their voices muffled and discreet. He watched her with slight curiosity as she scoped the area out, looking for a breakthrough. As her eyes caught on the labrynth, a fine line formed between his brows, his pupils dilating at the thought. He would never tell her, but the caves were not his favourite place. He grew up in Sedo, surrounded by the open landscape (though it wasn't an easy place to acclimatize to either); however, the thought of being closed in caused him to shudder internally. It was his most irrational fear, after losing someone who was already gone... Nonetheless, he offered a curt nod in Jonah's direction, a gesture of trust that he didn't lend often.
"Well, it was unpleasant meeting you both, and I hope we never see each other again." He broke into one of his signature crooked grins, almost childlike in its nature. I'm buying myself a VERY expensive piece of art after today.
