Lauren's was no doubt visibly upset. She could barely mutter out a "but I just found you" inbetween Nagisa's orders. Though that's not what they really were, the were a plea to save her son. Nagisa knew she could never leave, but she would never let Thadeus stay, not here. Thadeus was almost as worried as she was, but he stayed strong, just like his mother.
Lauren's ducked inside and grabbed the makeshift tablecloth from the table, leaving the things she set there neatly in their places, but hastily put. Lauren's returned to Thadeus and draped it over him, there was no need for a councilor's son to be recognized. She gave a heavy sigh, not wanting to split her family yet again.
"He will be safe, Nagisa... I will make sure of that, but you must be safe in return." She demanded softly. She was being separated yet again from her closest friend.
As they were being directed to leave, Thadeus ran back to his mother and hugged her. Lauren's scolded herself for breaking her vow that she wouldn't, but Lauren's returned and hugged her, too. Lauren's didn't want to leave Nagisa, something the taller mare surely knew by the tears left on her neck.
With that, the two departed slowly. Just as their hut went out of view, Laurens looked back to see the last glimpse of Nagisa. Back to the wilds she went.
