Sven | Talori | Entertainer
Her words rang in his ears, comforting him and calming his raging heart. If it weren't for the horses around them (especially with the Guardian, Taishen's, increasingly quizzical stare), he would have hugged her in some attempt to wipe away the fear that twisted her face, but right then, the only way to save her was to get her out of there. "I'll make sure you're safe." Sven muttered softly, determination flickering across his face just as the shadow of a winged horse from above swept over them and reminded him where they were. They needed to move.
"I'm presuming were all thinking of the same place of safety?" The paint stallion turned his head toward Cygnet and nodded. "I think so." Many members of this group had been visited by Cascade months ago in their dreams and had followed her signs to a set of ruins deep within the jungle that the goddess said would protect them in times of danger. The golden, tear-shaped necklaces on their necks had been given to them as reminders of that day, and Sven didn't think that he could forget the way even if he tried. "Trust me. We'll be able to find it again." He addressed Passoa, offering her a lopsided smile as Taishen lifted the injured palomino mare onto his withers.
A worried look crossed Sven's face as he walked closely beside Passoa. hovering protectively in case any extremist dared even think about coming near her... or anyone in their group. Sven's blessing was new, but with the rage that bubbled inside of him now, he had a feeling he could freeze any attacker that came near them. If not though and they were attacked, Taishen was the only one of them with any kind of real defense training. He would have to put Moree down rather quickly if he had to protect anyone. It was then at the young mare's mother stepped forward and offered to take her off of Taishen's shoulders. Sven blinked in surprise. The black overo mare wasn't built for the strength it would take to carry her daughter very far, but there was a glint in her eye that said otherwise. "If you need any help, let me know. I can take her off your shoulders if she gets too heavy." He was no heavy-lifter either, but at least, it would offer her a break if she needed it.
Sven snorted lightly as Kenneth turned to face an extremist, and his head whipped toward the path ahead of them after checking to make sure that Passoa and Kalakara were able to keep up. They needed to get to the Wilds or these "peace-seeking" extremists would kill them all.
