Taking a couple weeks to slowly recover his strength, Sonya focuses on restoring his wing muscles; the glossy shine his body once had is long gone and will likely never return, but there are worse things than looking a bit dull. Moving in in years, the stallion is pleased his condition can improve at all. The emotional stress of recent events continues to place a crushing burden on him, but it's not nearly so visceral as in the moment. In an effort to at least regain some semblance of control in his life, he decides to approach Tabitha; at least there's one loose end he can still attend to.
It isn't difficult for him to find her; he remembers the bittersweet time they once spent together. Pangs of regret eat away at him; he nears her immense form cautiously, not out of fear, but that he might hurt her again.
"Tabitha?", he asks, choking a little as his voice turns hoarse.
