Moree || Cleric || Post One Morning passed by in a whirlwind of colors and shapes, and before the palomino Cleric knew it, afternoon was nigh upon her. After finishing up the lunch that her Ama had packed - sugared dried fruits with a delicious, nectar-y syrup to preserve them - she pushed herself to her hooves and shook, sending the armored plates along her neck clanking loudly. For her day out and about, Moree had decided to wear the small golden brace that helped to keep her weakened leg steady, as well as the neck bracer she used for protection, and her favorite gold and black cloak. Her mane and tail, like always, were done up with blue jeweled cloth, and her hair's ends were dyed a vibrant blue-green color. On her face sat a golden and blue-jem-studded bridle, which accented the blueness of her eyes and brightness of her white face rather well. Tucking the jar her food had been kept in away, Moree glanced around at the landscape surrounding her. The beautiful Inarian landscape could be seen in all directions, spotted with the buildings that made up the city. Off to her right, Moree could see a group of foals, who seemed to be playing a game involving a ball and a large number of sticks. She couldn't help but let her mouth twitch up in a small smile as she watched the kiddos play; it was a goal of hers to become a mother at some point in her life, as difficult as it might be for someone of her...proclivities. But that was a matter for another day. Pushing her thoughts aside, Moree turned back to her work, glancing up occasionally to grin at the children. WC: 285

Sergio - Guardian
It was with a genial step that Sergio carried himself with that afternoon. Head held high, ears perked at attention as he made his rounds through the city. A coy smirk across his lips. The day so far had gone by pleasantly, something to be happy about certainly, but peace rarely suited him. In truth he was bored, unsatisfied with himself and with little else to occupy his thoughts the day drawled on. Sergio was not one to be idle, he thrived on activity, complied to do something with his time and listless energy. Do something he had and now he was restless. He came to a stop with no real urgency, taking in his surroundings dutifully, but with a bland sort of look. Nearby a large shoal of children were at play. He watched them for a time, thoughts of course naturally turning to his daughter. She was not among them, but their relentless energy and bright smiles mirrored her own. ‘Kalis would run circles around them,’ Sergio thought with pride, though it was soon subdued by a bitter pinch in his heart as he was reminded of her physical impairment and the very reason she was not out with them currently. Among the group two colts stood out to him, they were not the children of anyone he knew but as with any tight cliche the natural leaders came into their own and were easy to spot. Directing the flow of the group, usually loudly. They would make fine warriors one day. A rare gentleness settled across his features as he watched the children carry on. Post: 1 WC: 262

F R O S T I N E of Talori
......
Ocean currents that day had crashed against the shore that sided the city of Inaria, throwing sea spray upon glittering sands in the ripe hours of the morning. Looking out to the sea each morning was routine for her before she began her daily toil. One of many requirements she had for herself before she dare step outside into the walls that surrounded her goddess given duty.
Begin by waking from the plane of dreams, to start a morning prayer to the wave mother; then, have breakfast with her spouse of two years before seeing him off and going to tidy herself up. Afterwards, she would check to make sure she had adorned herself in her work attire - which was previously her wedding day outfit - and finish it with a trip to the sea. That had always been her current routine and it was no different today, especially after the events that have crashed down on the Talori people.
After the sun reached its peak in the sky she was finally taking a break from having visited two of her charges a bit ago. Twin foals. Ah how she loved kids. They may be little hazards when she wasn't watching but it certainly didn't damper her opinion about them. So when she spotted a group of foals, alongside a fellow cleric and guardian that she knew of, she let herself stop to watch and then canter over towards the guardian, her tail and mane both braided with flowers and bouncing with each step she took. "I didn't expect to run into you today Sergio. Wave mother bless you, how have you and Kalis been? I hope she hasn't been keeping you up at night. A guardian needs their sleep." She stopped herself nearby him, letting her head dip in a bow towards the man as she made sure to glance away occasionally, not wishing to be rude towards him alongside wanting to keep an eye on the children she could see in her view. Internally she also wondered who that cleric over there was, noting her appearance and lovely outfit.

Cinnamon - Talori - Cleric
Cinnamon was trying her hardest to stay busy. Her stomach hadn't entirely settled properly from her morning meal, though that was more because of the news that now weighed heavily upon her. She was trying her best, bustling to and fro with the other clerics in her duties, but she was distracted to say the least. Thankfully, she had some small distractions here and there throughout the morning as she continued her work, specifically the small group of children that had decided to make this particular spot a playground for the day. They were a welcome relief. The sound of their peeling laughter put a nice skip in the mother's step, if only because it pushed her thoughts away from the newly found life that was now growing inside of her own belly. It wasn't the best distraction, but it was one that was currently working for the mother.
She wasn't looking forward to sharing the news with her children, let alone the father to be. They... had a small conundrum on their hooves for the time being, which was the main reason behind her sporadic and haphazard movements. She had never felt so... wrong before. It wasn't normal for her to stray from the ways of her people, let alone feel so disconnected from the others as they continued her work. It was funny, how differently she felt about her own body in comparison to when she had carried both Dawson and Belle to term.
However, she now was not the time to think too heavily on her life choices. Eventually, she slowed her racing mind and joined the other clerics, feeling it was more than reasonable to finally speak with the others openly. "It's good to see children playing again." She said softly to nobody in particular, hoping that one of the other members of her group would join in with her. "Considering all we've been through, I'm glad that the city is returning back to how things used to be."

Moree || Cleric || Post Two Moree turned her attention from the children towards the other adults that seemed to have congregated together. It wasn't uncommon for the mare's herdmates to stop and chat with each other, and she was glad to see that some seemed to know each other, and were on friendly terms. She caught a glance in her direction from a mare she didn't recognize, and dipped her head in greeting, though she said nothing to the stranger, as she seemed busy talking with a Guardian that Moree half recognized. Seeing as her father was a part of the Guardian forces, she often rubbed elbows with others like him, though she couldn't quite place the name of the stallion that stood in her field of vision. Moree's attention was torn away from the pair as she heard the voice of a Cleric she somewhat recognized speaking. Cinnamon, a horse she knew more by name and sight than personality, was commenting on the children and how things seemed to be returning to their roots. "Not exactly the same as they were before," Moree chimed in, ambling over to the other mare. "But....better," she said with a small smile. "It's good that the children feel safe enough to be playing out there like that," she added with a little chuckle. "I'm glad the new little ones have that chance." Her tone saddened a little as she remembered her own, magically-abbreviated, childhood in Torrine. She had played games, yes, but only within the confines of the camp's walls. And there was always the constant threat of the government, and later the Flight, ruling over them all. To see horses playing carefree and happily was good to heal those wounds for her. WC: 286

A. Laurens | Cleric
The sun was still new in the sky when she set out this morning. A bit of work in the greenhouse was needed before she could start her work as a Cleric for the day. Truth be told, she hadn't taken to her new role as well as she'd hoped. Servitude and freedom were worlds apart, after all, and without a contract, the world felt more... possible. Yes, possible was the word. As the mare pruned and clipped, she couldn't help from flopping her dorsal fin from one side to the other. Nagisa never told her how itchy scales could be, either, but maybe she'd get used to her new form in time. Cascade blessed her after all and she would learn how to make use of this gift from her goddess. Laurens picked a few orchids and other flowers for Nadia- they were meeting this morning to have tea and catch up. Therapy for the filly had been going well and it was time for a much needed break from work. Laurens tried to give Thaddeus a strong red hibiscus flower, but he left it at the table. Laurens chose a small vase from the cupboard and set the flower in some water, leaving it to rest on a desk in Thadeus's room. The mare set out to tea. Her chat with Nadia, as always, was pleasant . Laurens had found a friend like none other in the young girl, and for that she was grateful . Nadia quite liked the flowers brought for her, but opted to share them with Laurens, tucking a few blossoms into her braids. Laurens smiled at how thoughtful Nadia was. As the mare walked, she passed by a group of children playing- as they often do. Laurens watched for a moment before continuing. A small group had gathered a ways off and- whether it be the good spirits instilled by Nadia or a strange bravery seeded in her heart- Laurens decided to say hello. She had a moment to think as she walked towards them. What would she say? Good morning? well, it wasn't really morning anymore now was it... Hello is always good, but was it too impersonal ? Overthinking was a plague that followed Laurens wherever she went. Why couldn't she be as free as the children playing over yonder. As she arrived to the group, head still watching, words fell from her mouth. "Oh to be as free as a child again..." She caught herself and turned to her audience, a soft blush on her face, "Hello, lovely day, isn't it?" 430

Sergio - Guardian
The children weren’t the only ones drawn out by the sunshine it seemed. He recognized a few by their attire as clerics, a sight he had grown used to in recent years. Were it not for his daughter he would not have given them much thought. In the wake of his wife’s passing they had become a subject of scrutiny. He bore no grudge with the class as a whole but he would tolerate only the best for his daughter. He had no patience for bullshit. If they did not live up to his expectations they did not last long and were promptly escorted out the door. In the end there was only one cleric he truly trusted for his daughter’s care. A familiar voice reached his ears and he tore his gaze away from the scene to glance towards the mare who had addressed him. Frostine. Finally, some spice to an otherwise monotonous day. He waited as she spoke first, idle smirk soon spreading into a wide grin. “A pleasant surprise, Frostine.” The words rumbled deeply in his chest. “I’m afraid my own daughter has it out for me. The night is day and the moon light might as well be sunshine to her. But I am well.” He chuckled, fond and certainly exasperated but not at all irritated by his daughter’s antics. “I trust the day has treated you the same?” Post: 2 WC: 233

F R O S T I N E of Talori
......
As she waited for her familiar friend to speak, she noticed the younger cleric sitting over yonder had noticed her and being polite she dipped her head silently to the other who did the same, acknowledging their presence in similar light before turning to Sergio who noticed and soon spoke. A small yet soft smile graced her features as she listened to him, her ears twitching at the sound of two others who had entered the area. "Oh dear, your little guppy, one never to be sound asleep when the moon shines. At least you are well; but, yes the day has treated me well as well. I am just simply taking a break from my clerical duties after having visited two of my charges. A pair of twin foals. Its a shame... One of them had fallen ill and the stress of the past years events have only made it worse. Thankfully, their health is beginning to look up a bit." She chimed with a sorrowful leg raised to her chest. After all that had happened, it was a pity some of the youngest of Talori had fallen fate to sickly burdens. Hopefully her charge would get better.
Turning her gaze away from Sergio for a moment - while fixing her dressed up mane to get it out of her eyes - she spotted two more hippocampi come into view. Listening to their words she realized by appearances that they two were also clerics. My, my, so many clerics congregating. Though it wasn't that uncommon to see many in the temple, even hat reminded her of the divine and what she had done not too long ago.
Getting rid of the thought she quietly turned to Sergio again. "Well would you look at that. How about we go join them Sergio? A bit of socialization in a group never hurt nobody, and they all seem to be speaking about children as well." So when she finished her words, she waited for Sergio to make his answer and do what he desired before with an energetic step heading over to the other clerics in view who had grouped up. "Yes, hello! It is a lovely day today isn't it? I seemed to have not met any of you fellow clerics before today from what I recall." She gave a dip of her head towards the three mares as her braided tail brushed on the ground. "I'm Frostine, and I seemed to have heard you three speaking about the children over there and foals in general, yes?" Inquiring about what they were conversing about she waited with a glowing smile on her face.

Linnea | Harbinger (Grand cleric)
Linnea had to wonder at times why it was a clerics duty to watch the children of the herd if not to teach them. She had wondered if it was not a job better spent on say a shoal, using their own time for luch more important matters. As it was however it did befall on them and Linnea carried out her duty without complaint. Did she do so with the same warm fuzzy feelings the others seem to have however? No. If anything she felt... unacustomed to their remarks. She had never been much around her own children, not for play at least and the only child she had been around she now no longer aknowledged existed. She would be much more in her element if she could see to it the foals learned a thing or two, rather than just keeping watch.
“They are indeed quite active” she aknowledged neutraly. It was a thing she could appreciate, youth brought vitality wereas old age gave wisdom. Linnea wouldn’t trade the latter for the former but at times she did wonder if she could have both. Her eyes were turned towards her fellow clerics now, mind spinning fantasies and children themselves momentarily forgotten.

Moree || Cleric || Post Three Moree's attention has been momentarily grabbed by a small flock of seabirds that were flying overhead. Guessing from their antics, they weren't anyone's familiars, but simply wild creatures living free. She remembered all of the animals that had crossed her paths while she'd been living in the Wilds with her Ama. It was a bittersweet memory to say the least; Cascade had faithfully protected her people while they were there, but Moree had almost lost her Ama during childbirth, not to mention she had to try and recover from losing her leg. Luckily, Kali and Owain had come out the other side just fine, and Moree's healing regeneration had allowed her both to recover from her own injuries, and heal her father's wounds from the war as well. Moree was torn from her thoughts by the fact that someone was speaking to her. She blinked quickly, recovering from her momentary lapse in focus, affixing her face in a smile as she greeted the others who had congregated beside her. "It's a lovely day indeed," she responded, nodding to Frostine, before letting her ears swivel towards Linea. "Active is one way to put it," the Cleric said, laughing. "Well, seems as though we've got a bit of a lull in duty today," she commented, looking about at the others. "And despite how much time I spend in the city, I can't say as I know all of you yet. I'm Moree, but friends call me Mo if that's too much of a mouthful," she introduced herself with a genuine kindness in her voice. "It's nice to meet you all," she added with a gentle smile. As she spoke, Moree didn't realize that she was turned away from the children, and no longer listening to their chatter. WC: 296

Sergio - Guardian
Sergio listened attentively as Frostine spoke. She was a talkative mare that one, a fact he had grown accustomed to. Pity stirred in his chest at the mention of the ill child. His family would always take priority in his heart but he spared the twins a sympathetic thought. Assured at least in the knowledge that despite her unfortunate standing Frostine was the right mare for the job. “If the care you have given my daughter is anything to go by I am confident you are up to the task.”
A quiet moment elapsed as Sergio considered the events of the past year. And what an eventual and blasphemous year it had been. He would be glad to see it swept away by the sands of time. Frostine broke the quiet moment, and his smile returned at her suggestion. “Lead the way,” He said with a chuckle, lifting his right hoof in gesture for her to go on. Sergio followed, long barbed tail sweeping in a lazy arch behind him. He dipped his head lightly in greeting to the group as introductions were made. “I am Sergio, can't say I have had the pleasure." his sharp blue eyes swept over the group, taking in each cleric in turn. It did not escape his notice that he was surrounded on all sides by women now. He couldn’t say he minded. The Grand Cleric caught his eye in particular and his attention lingered on her for a moment. He had heard of the mare of course but had yet to meet her personally. Sergio’s mannerisms were not intended to be rude but he often forgot himself, too swept up in the moment to notice if a look lasted too long to be polite and too careless to worry over such a thing if he had. He smiled broadly as his attention returned to the congregation. “A lull in duty indeed, my good mare. It must be by the wave mother’s will that you all find yourselves here, to enjoy this good weather and company. ” his eyes wrinkled in mirth. “I say bask in it while you have it.”

Cinnamon - Talori - Cleric
Cinnamon smiled warmly as she was joined by others, it was a good reprieve and much needed. "But better... yes." She hummed softly, looking between the other horses that had gathered with curiosity. Admittedly, she wasn't entirely as well acquainted with others within the group, though she had nearly mistaken one of the older members for a child, as the small pony was indeed dwarfed by the taller members of the group.
"A fine day indeed." The mare nodded to the new members. "I was just observing with Moree how it's good to see things back to how they were. I hope that all is going well for you both?" It was funny, seeing the smaller pony alongside the larger guardian, comical even, though Cinnamon wasn't entirely focused on the differences. Instead, she was frantically hoping she didn't call the mare beside her by the wrong name. She was also taking note of the grand cleric that was now joining them.
The mare smiled slightly, dipping her head and nodding. "The company of the children is more than welcome, if you ask me." She added, smiling slightly, though she most certainly felt her anxiety flaring up. Though she wasn't going to blame anyone other than herself for the sudden concern.
Alas, she still had too much on her mind. Quietly, she turned back to the children, her ears flicking back suddenly as she tried to focus on the conversations going on around her.

Moree || Cleric || Post Four "It's not often that so many of us have the time to get together and just talk," Moree commented, taking Sergio's advice to enjoy the day, stretching her neck to the left and the right to work out the kinks that had developed over long days of working at her craft. The sun was warm on her back, underneath the black and gold cloak that she commonly wore, and she could feel a slight breeze coming up off the ocean, the heady scent of salt high in the air as the wind wafted past. She knew Linea, Frostine, and Cinnamon from her work, but she didn't know any of them particularly well. And the idea of making new friends sat well with the mare. After all, the last time she'd introduced herself to someone, it had been the pretty mare, Lydia, who had agreed to show her around the palace gardens. It wouldn't be classified as a date...per se...especially as she still barely knew the mare, but the thought still crossed her mind, and gave her a sense of the warm fuzzies for a second. Shaking off her thoughts, Moree turned her attention back to the others. "So, other than the little ones over there, what have we all going on today?" she inquired with a small smile. "Unless someone trips over a stick, or breaks a bone, I'm free as a bird today...and it feels great," she added with a chuckle. WC: 245

......
Quietly paying attention to the other clerics, her gaze momentarily turned to a grand cleric that came into the group, noting that it was Linnea. She had only seen the grand cleric from a distance but knew that she may be in for some remarks, especially with her intact wings. No amount of time passing would ever truly erase the memory of various racist remarks from others, but all she could do was stand quietly, smile and nod as she heard them.
"Moree? A lovely name for a lovely mare indeed. It's nice to meet you too. A lull in duty and the excitement of children truly is welcome indeed." She couldn't help but let out a happy chirp, her wings and feathers fluffing themselves up in response to her own happiness. "I simply mentioned to my friend Sergio here about how I came off duty from dealing with a pair of twins. One is ill but they'll get better eventually. Hopefully life stays smooth in order to boost their recovery, but other than that what about all of you? I certainly hope someone here has done something fun recently, what with what's occurred over the last year or so. Stress causes people to get ill after all, so it'd be great to hear something funny having happened since I do have a few amusing stories myself." Such a chatterbox, she observed about herself. She couldn't help it though as she was in need for some interaction with other people. She couldn't constantly dwell on all the bad that has happened, what with the murder of princesses, flight occupation and kirins returning to hireath.
Maybe she should go talk with her husband about some things... Odysseus was a guard commander after all... He could probably instruct her in some self defense techniques or help her obtain a weapon to protect herself. Though the man was busy with all the chaos going on. She heard something about the rogues off the mainland as well recently, since quite a bit of stuff has been becoming much harder to find in the market. Could that be why she couldn't easily locate some special fabric till hours later? So much to think about. Truly a head spinner.

She listened intently as the others fell effortlessly into conversation... or rather, she tried. Her nerves were running high- what if she had made a fool of her self? She was surrounded by so many other clerics... and she was so new to this profession. No one really notices a councilor's personal assistant, not often anyway. She worried a pit into her stomach. She wasn't listening- Get out of your head, Ana! Today's plans? What have I been doing recently? Oh, they talk so fast...
"I-" Brave start, "I only recently became a Cleric, so I'm no where near as busy as I imagine you all are..." She took a breath to calm her nerves before looking to the party with a soft smile, you'll be okay, "but I was hoping to make it to the ruins today, it is quite lovely there and the herbs along the way are quite useful in our profession, don't you think? Anyone is welcome to join me, if they so wish- the company is more than welcome. Maybe you can lend me a tip or two on being a Cleric... I fear I am not taking to it as well as needed..." She looked down, but her smile remained. It really was bright and always honest. 215

Cinnamon - Talori - Cleric
The mare's heart soared as Brave admitted to their lack of knowledge and knew found interest in the profession, her ears perking up at once as she looked at the other horses. They all seemed to have wonderful plans, and Cinnamon herself had only planned to let Belle play for a bit as she did her own duties. There was a moment of silence as she tore her eyes away from the group of children and returned to the discussion the adults were having.
"I could certainly join you and help out. I've been a cleric for... well most of my life at this point, and although I most certainly am still learning as well, I'm sure we all here have more than enough experience to lend a hoof." She smiled warmly before nodding her head at the others, trying her best to keep more than one conversation afloat in her mind. "T-twins?! " She tried to keep her voice from cracking at the sudden thought of her own troubles if she had twins. She felt a little light headed at the thought, but quickly pushed it away. "I'm glad to hear only one of them is ill... it's always difficult on a mother when more than one child is sick... Dawson and Belle both once came down with a horrific flu shortly after my husband passed. It... was a difficult time for us all."
Maybe talking about her late husband wasn't the best direction to correct the conversation though. So Cinnamon turned back to the first question that was asked. "I had planned on checking in on some of the horses I had treated yesterday. There's an agriculturalist I've been tending to that accidentally twisted his leg while tending to his crops that I've been working with for a few weeks now. I think he's almost ready to return to full work soon, but he's been trying to find excuses to stay under my care." She smiled slightly, shaking her head. "I think he's just gotten used to my company though."

checkpoint!
It's good that you all can chat and catch up. The current climate, tension brewing on the horizon, is foreboding at best and alarming at worst. Allowing yourself some time to ignore it (if only for a few minutes) is a welcome reprieve.
That is... until you realize the playful chatter from the foals nearby has quieted to the point of silence. A sense of apprehension washes over all of you. The clerics among you have recently been made familiar with the tunnels underneath Inaria (product of an ancient maze), perhaps the children have mistakenly entered it.
You decide to look around where they last were.

Moree || Cleric || Post Five
The chatter washed over her, and Moree lost herself to the conversation. She listened intently to the description of each horse's day, laughing where appropriate, frowning when necessary, and otherwise generally engaging with the others. She fell mostly silent, letting the others chatter amongst themselves while she sat back to listen. A warm, salty breeze came up from the oceanside, washing over the city and playing with the blue-dyed strands of the mare's mane and tail. While she would have normally shivered at the feeling, Moree had become completely used to the cold, thanks to a comb blessed by her patron, the Wave Mother. The golden hair clip was home today, but she usually wore it. The effect of the blessed item was to create a layer of frost on and around the mare's hooves, melting away wherever she walked. Her thoughts moved on from her imperviousness to the cold.
Suddenly, the palomino cleric realized that something was very different. Her ears swiveled back, and she turned her head. Blue eyes widened as she stared over at the place where the children had been moments before.
"Hey," she called out, trying to keep a panicked tone out of her voice as she spoke, so as not to spook the others. "The foals...they're gone," she pointed out, nodding her head to where the empty street waited. "Where could they have gone?" inquired the appaloosa, as she turned and trotted towards the place where the children had disappeared, assuming the others would follow.

Laurens was happy to have a companion in this conversation. She was put at ease, now, in fact, she was too peaceful. the world around her was quiet and she was oblivious. She watched each face as it spoke, intently listening. Cinnamon reminded her of the young girl, Belle, she met so many moons ago. A brave little girl, or rather she would be as she grew. She was still but a child when they met. The mare hoped their paths would cross again soon. Laurens turned to look over her shoulder to see the children, but was pulled back by Moree. "Hey, the foals...they're gone...." Laurens' head turned suddenly, bringing her body to where the children last were. She looked around, trying to find some clue as to where they had gone. She tried to calm herself, but the tension her herd seemed to live in always got to her. Thadeus and company had stayed out playing too late one night a week ago and Laurens nearly died of a heart attack. They were all fine, of course, but her head always went to the worst- especially when it came to her children. "Where could they have gone?" Laurens looked around the clearing, hoping for an answer to the question they were all asking. Laurens had no children by blood, but many by fate. She knew how curious they could be and how their feet moved faster than their heads. They hadn't learned fear yet. From where she stood she saw a courtyard established in cobblestone. She couldn't hide the anxiety in her words. "Maybe they went over there?" 275

Sergio - Guardian
To private company, Sergio would readily admit he had been distracted. He could not be faulted for it of course, given his current company and the amiable mood of conversation. It was a lovely afternoon, the weather fair and the sun warm over blessedly idle waters. And with company as lovely as this anyone would find themselves in similar state if they stood in his hooves. After all, he’d been looking for a distraction from his boredom all day. It was only fair. "Hey, the foals...they're gone...." It was Moree’s voice that first broke the tranquility, followed closely by Laurens. He stood straighter at once, head held high and followed their line of sight. The children were gone, that much was clear. A deep frown tugged at his mouth as he trotted over to where they had been at play. He did not think the children were in immediate danger. Not yet anyway. Foals moved quickly. They were clever little things, this much he knew from personal experience with his daughter. He hadn’t always been there for her, but recent years had brought about a new appreciation for the work his late wife had put in. Children, in a word, were difficult. "Maybe they went over there?"
Sergio turned towards the anxious voice and followed Laurens gaze to a cobblestone courtyard. His expression tightened for a moment, before it laxed again into a confident smile. “We have no reason to fret yet. They couldn’t have gone far.” He told the others, mildly hoping words of assurance would calm them. A mindless panic would do no one good. “Keep your ears peeled, we’ll likely hear them before we see them.” His gaze swept over the group as he continued, making sure they heard him as he spoke clearly. “Start from where they last were and search outwards. If you find nothing, backtrack and begin in a new direction. Above all else, keep yourselves calm.” With a nod towards the courtyard he decided to begin his search there, intending to do just that. Cinnamon - Talori - Cleric
There was a pregnant pause from Cinnamon as Moore realized that the children were gone. The flurry of activity the others has jumped into took a little longer to hit her, if only because her mind went to her young daughter and how hellish her life had been in the months that she had been separated from her children. She felt frozen in place, unable to do anything as the cries of the people of Inaria came crashing back on her.
Then, it was gone. In an instant she felt her own concerns kick into gear and her instincts hit her like a tsunami. She glanced at the others, feeling the effects of her panic on her already queasy stomach. If it wasn’t for Sergio’s reminder of keeping calm, she would have had an anxiety attack right then and there. She wasn’t even convinced that she wasn’t having one, but that would have to wait. Quickly, the mare started to move into action.
“I’m heading to where I last saw them... oh I know there’s no reason to fret but by Cascade this brings back uncomfortable memories.” She took in a slow breath, turning towards Laurens. This wasn’t good.

Linnea | Harbinger (Grand cleric)
Linnea was a mare of observance and so she carefully took in the ones around her. She dipped her head at the newcomers, introducing herself as well. “Grand cleric Linnea, pleased to make your acquitance.” She gave the pegasus a look, wondering that, with Cascade’s new wishes, they would still be expected to turn their eyes away.
The thought couldn’t capture her interest for too long however and her mind turned elsewhere. The newly mentioned notion of fun. Fun seemed like an entirely frivolous thing to Linnea and she had never quite understood how her herdmates found pleasure in such useless activities, for that what they often meant with fun. For Linnea fun was the translation of an ancient text or a good round of philosophing, never mind going out for drinks. The only time she had indulged in such waste of time activities was Sedo, but that was a time long behind her and better forgotten altogether.
She shook her head, old memories resurfacing lately that she’d rather be without. “I did read quite the interesting ritual, well a know one actually, but I found a reference to it in an older text.” she offered as her two cents of excitement.
When the blond hippocampus spoke, she was pleased to hear her intention to learn. “Come, come,” she said, “We are not born all knowledgable, but we have much capacity to learn. Do not feel bad about this, but instead consider it a gift. As modelled by Argus.” And given by Digend. But the last she kept to herself. “I would be happy to accompagny.”
The conversations were running smoothly enough, or so Linnea found. But then dreaded words came from the blue mane one. The kids were gone. Had she not been as well-mannered as she was, Linnea would have cursed. “Not a second!” she muttered.
She almost snorted at the guardian’s words. Fret? She was more annoyed then worried. She did give him a nod though, appreciating his attempt to keep everyone grounded. Digend knew what some of them would do. She side-eyed the pegasus -Frostine was it?- hoping the frail thing wouldn’t get too upset. She didn’t feel much for calming at the moment.
“What fast little ones.” Ones, ones. Not things. She was pretty sure the latter had not been taken kindly to if she slipped up.

Moree || Cleric || Post Six
Moree's eyes scanned right and left as she searched for any sign of the little ones. She could see hide nor hair of the small creatures, and her heart began to race as thoughts of what might have happened to them popped into her head. Of course, she knew that there was probably little cause for alarm; the foals had more than likely just wandered off, and would show up again in a few moments, but she couldn't help feeling stressed that she couldn't see them. It was the Guardian, Sergio, whose words calmed Moree, and brought her back to earth, allowing her to center herself with a calming breath. He was right, the foals were probably close, and they would be heard before they could be seen. Searching in an orderly fashion would be the best way to try and find them.
"I know what you mean," Moree said, nodding to Laurens as she looked away from her search. She couldn't help but be reminded of times that she'd been separated from the adults in her life, and how badly those times went. Besides, something in her stomach churned at the thought of not being able to find the foals in the next few minutes.
Something about Linnea seemed...distant. But Moree shook it off as simply feeling stressed by the lack of foals, and assured herself that there was nothing to be worried about.

Catching up with other fellow clerics was something probably all among the order needed right now. Between the health of the nation declining and the state of the Divine herself it was good peace was on some... Even though soon fate decided to chuck said peace out the metaphorical window.
Ears swiveling to the sounds of the others, she looked and listened over to where they pointed out the lack of foals and he stood still before letting out a short sigh. Children could be such troublemakers... Despite the reactions of some others, and the look of a certain grand cleric, she was relatively calm and was quick to remove herself from the grounded group to get some space. "Yes... No reason to fret yet." She muttered as she fixed her outfit to allow her wings to outstretch. "We should also search for small bits of destruction. Cascade only knows how some children leave chaos in their wake." She gave a look to Sergio at that as she began to lift off. "I'll take to the skies so that we have another view to find them." She told them before she took to the skies in a timely manner, her black wings causing a fading shadow as she rose higher in the sky.
Hopefully with eyes from above the group could have another hoof in finding where those foals went more quickly. At least getting high enough in the air would let her have a total view of the area as long as it wasn't obstructed, though she hoped the children wouldn't be in serious danger. They didn't need another child passing into the wave mother's arms, especially with how important it is to have the next generation ready to take on the tasks of Cascade's time.

A.Laurens | idk like 4? what post is this
Laurens panic was not shared, and no one would deny that that was a good thing. A very good thing. Truthfully, they were right. There was no reason to fret... at least not yet. They'd only vanished for a few moments now, surely they're just over a hedge... or around a corner... nearby, to say the least. Frostine's offer to take to the sky gave Laurens a brief moment of reassurance. They can't have gone too far from a bird's eye view. Foals were fast, but not that fast. "Oh thank you!" Laurens called to the pegasus in the sky. The gratitude was honest. Frostiene would find something. Surely. Certainly. Laurens watched the pegasus intently. As her eyes watched Frostine's every move, her ears flicked left. A loud clank- or maybe it was a thud? Whatever it was, it now had Laurens' full attention. "Did anyone hear that?" She asked over her shoulder, trotting deeper into the courtyard to investigate. Every side was walled in with neatly lain cobblestone. The years had worn away the pristine lines and patterns, but the grandeur had not faded. Laurens found herself peering into one of the drainage gates. The labyrinth below was no doubt appealing to a foal's curious mind, but the gate was solid. Impassible. Though, that didn't stop the noises she heard. "I hear them! Or... at least I think I do... Surely they've gone down there, I just haven;t a clue as to how...." Laurens searched int the gate for some clue, but it was too dark. Maybe her mind was playing tricks on her. "Please, tell me... My mind isn't playing a mean game, is it? I don't mean to make a fuss, truly, I just... I can't shake this feeling. Lady Nagisa entrusted the care of her children to me and if anything happens to them I... I..." she didn't know how to finish. 325

Cinnamon - Talori - Cleric
The mare had already set to work, hearing the others and feeling the panic of the children being gone rise up with her. Hadn't she left Belle with the group? For some reason she couldn't quite remember, which caused an excessive amount of pressure from anxiety to form in her stomach. She felt her stomach roll slightly as the thought of her daughter getting into danger came to mind.
They needed to work faster.
She felt the sudden urgency press down upon her, but she wanted to avoid causing an uproar. She was worried though, and as everybody continued to speak, she felt her body quake in concern. No need to feel concern.. they were right, there was no need. She would be okay.
Then Laurens mentioned hearing them. Cinnamon immediately perked up and rushed over, curious. "Where did you hear it?" She asked, knowing full well that they both might just been letting their own motherly instinct get the better of them. Cinnamon bit her lip in worry, considering the consequences of the lost children for just a moment.
No. It was better to try to focus on the now without worrying herself further, but the knot in her stomach was growing.

Sergio - Guardian “Cascade only knows how some children leave chaos in their wake,”
Sergio caught Frostine’s eye and chuckled at the acknowledgment, a wary smirk spread across his features. “If my daughter had been with them they would not have vanished so easily. That filly would have made such a task impossible.” He couldn’t help but say. Frostine spoke the truth, he would not deny the hell his daughter could raise on the occasion. He watched the pegasus take off, then went back to his search. He listened carefully for any sign of the children. As the minutes ticked by his expression sombered. How strange that they could disappear so quickly, and quietly. Something was not right. They were missing something, he was sure. Just under their hooves in plain sight. Grey ears perked and the stallion lifted his head as he first heard Laurens and than Cinnamon speak up. He approached them and followed their line of sight to a drainage gate. He strained his ears and slowly but surely thought he heard something too. “Good ear.” he praised the mares, brow furrowed in confusion as he tried to make sense of it. “Now how did they get down there. There must be an entrance nearby.” His gaze swept over the courtyard mildly vexed at how ordinary it looked. Sergio took a step back and turning his gaze skyward called up to the pegasus above. “Frostine! I need you down here we may have a led.”

......
Soaring through the air with black wings slicing through blue skies, Frostine viewed the world from above where no grounded equine could see. She could spot Laurens watching her from down below and she smiled to her, hopefully reassuring the mare that things would be alright as she surveyed the visible area.
As she viewed she hovered and used her wings to help get the sun out of her face so she could see the ground below, squinting as she watched the group before spotting them by the drainage gate and... Something else? When she saw what she had spotted she lowered herself so she was less distance away from the ground so she could view what she found.
A multitude of canvas sheets splayed among the ground with paint nearby, some slightly disturbed from their pristine square shape as if someone had walked away from them.
Taking a moment to study them while almost landing on the ground, she twisted her ear to the sound of Sergio calling her over and turned her head to respond. "Alright Sergio, I'll be over there in a second!" She called out, turning her view back to the art supplies. Frostine obviously wasn't a master at following any sort of tracks, but there seemed to be enough clue as to which way the owner of this stuff went if the way the canvas was shifted was any clue. Turning herself around and gently hovering, she looked around the ground to see if she could find anything else that probably could help. Till she found some grass kicked up as if someone began to run. These things easily piqued her curiosity and she followed them till she fully landed on the ground where they completely stopped. The trail going cold.
Letting out a confused huff she turned herself around in the same spot where the tracks of the foals had stopped, and soon let her voice be heard. "Hey everyone! I found some art supplies over there. Does anyone know if they possibly belong to any foal you know of cause it seems like they started to run this way before they disappeared." She called out, wondering if there may have been something beneath them that was hiding. ... ... Word Count: 374 Post # 5

Moree || Cleric || Post Seven
The palomino mare was growing more and more worried with every passing second. She couldn't help but conjure up images of her own siblings, namely Owain, who had been out in the city with some friends earlier that day. Was he amongst the missing? She couldn't remember seeing his particularly noticeable coat, but she hadn't really been looking for it. She sent a silent prayer to Cascade that he'd not joined the group of foals playing, but something in her heart told her not to put too much stock in her prayers. While she trusted the Wave Mother with her heart, her gut told her not to be so naive.
Not only would Moree's parents flay her alive if she came home with news that her brother had met some ill fate, but she herself was certain she couldn't handle it. Their family had already been tested in so many manners; there was little she could do to keep them together should something else happen to shake the earth of her home's foundation. And that was something Moree definitely did not want.
The sound of Frostine's calling snapped her out of her thoughts. "Art supplies could belong to almost anyone," she mused, sounding both frustrated and afraid at the thought of not being able to figure out who the foals were, or where they could be. Even with Laurens' hearing them, and Frostine's seeing their belongings, Moree was not convinced that they would come to an end to this situation without some form of tragedy. Trying to shake this thought out of her head, she turned her attention to the horses around them.
"So, we know they're somewhere nearby, and one of them's an artist...what does that mean?" she mused, looking about for answers.
