Persephone | Missionary
Slipping in to the shed was easy enough once Sinarin unlocked the door for them. Seph slid in, and her eyes took in the other supplies in the room, spotting a quite sizable length of rope. Nimbly picking it up in her teke, she brought it to her tentacles and coiled them securely around the rope. The size of the crystal was definitely going to mean they were going to need a way to move it, and none of them had thought to bring anything with them. Once satisfied, she continued in until she got to the crystal. It was definitely a sight to behold, and Persephone wonders what it'll look like once the sun strikes its' features.
Like the rest of the group, she wonders briefly how they are going to move the crystal without alerting anyone or causing suspicion, until that is, a falling teleportation pad catches her eye. As she stares down at it, the missionary feels a shiver run through her spine; Digend was there, giving them the help they prayed for.
It sparks to life, and the crystal itself rises. Stepping confidently onto the pad, Persephone presses her nose to the crystal. With a tug, they disappear, materializing in the fields just outside the storm guarding Asylon.
Digend's voice calls out to them from the city. It is grateful, and soothing to Persephone's soul. However, tension begins to into Persephone's very bones, aching and unyielding. Something is wrong, her thoughts echo Digend's words.
Stepping from hoof to hoof, she jumps, spooked, when Digend tells them to run. Before the missionary can heed her Goddesses words, another presence, voice booming and rattling her body as it seemed to shake the whole of Sirith calls out.
Argus. While she'd prayed to all the gods, she'd never heard a peep from the Arcane God. Now however, she was wishing that were still the case. Rage was seeping all around them as they tried to figure out how to move the crystal, and Persephone was glued to the spot, an unfamiliar feeling of terror coursing through her veins.
Digend's voice snapped her out of her trance, and just in time to watch her goddess step in front of them, so much larger than the last time Persephone had seen her, protecting them, even as the storm whirled around and swallowed them in it's bowels.
"Sinarin! I found some rope, if we can tie it around the crystal and attach it to some of our saddlebags, we can carry it between us." Setting to work as quickly as she could, she looped some of the length around the crystal, tying easy, sturdy knots to keep it in place. Looping one end of the rope through her saddlebag, she waited for someone else to lash themselves to the other side.
Persephone could not see, nor hear anything from beyond the storm, and worry and tension was writhing in her stomach for Digend. Closing her eyes, she sent a steady stream of prayer out to Digend before they set off, hoping to get the crystal to its' rightful home in the sanctum to help Digend.

Alois
The crystal was theirs and everything was falling into place. She was almost proud, if just for a moment. Abruptly, they found themselves in a field, the Ungod praising them. Then the wind shifted. Warning came from Digend. Argus began to manifest. Alois was upset once again. The gods were always like this. "WHO ARE YOU THAT WOULD SO FREELY TAKE FROM ME AND MINE?" Alois remembered her run in with Ignacio- about the curse he so proudly gave her. Gods were always so full of themselves. Everything was theirs. They were all powerful. They were idiots. "And who are you that you could not give? You see all the bad in the world with your omnipotent power, yet you do nothing. You gods are all the same." the mare sneered, more to herself than any of the other, though she knew Argus heard her. The god saw yet never acted. Fueled by an anger deep within, Alois turned to the group. She heeded Persephone and latched the rope to herself. "Come on, before their Egos consume us, too." 180

Umbra | PeddlerUmbra had been going along quietly with the rest of them. He was not much for planning great heists. But, in the end it seemed very little planning was necessary at all. For their goddess helped them the whole way. She made things work perfectly. Things went so quick. Taking the crystal was easy. Too easy. Even the young unicorn could sense that much. And as the thought crossed his mind, everything went downhill.
First Digend spoke to them. She praised them. Then another god. Argus, apparently. He'd only ever heard stories of this one. Umbra was frightened. What if this new angry god were to destroy them. Argus was a god after all. A god has more power than the young stallion could ever fathom, at least so he believed. Then she appeared before them, Digend. She looked slightly different from the first time he had seen her. But, he knew it was her. She was so distinct and unique. He watched as she ran past them, into a fight. Then a storm enveloped the group. "Thank you, Digend," he whispered under his breath. Then he helped the group move the crystal and high-tailed it toward the image of Asylon.

With some struggle and great determination, you make it to the Sanctum, and find the place meant for the crystal - a large platform seemingly made of bone. You push the crystal onto it, and it spins in place gently, shining brighter. And brighter. And brighter still. A blast of pink energy and light emanates from the crystal and through the city. From the windows of the Sanctum, you can see the borders of Asylon expand as the city grows around you. There are excited shouts and exclamations in the streets as your fellow residents witness the miracle. The platform, with the crystal on it rises, rises into the ceiling and then through it as if it was nothing at all. On the roof of the Sanctum, it joins the other crystal. Their power crackles, wild and corralled only by Digend’s own magic, and the desires of her followers. Your desires. The crystals magic hums around you, unbridled. Asking you for direction.
Each player character may now receive a gift of their choosing! Please choose one of the following options each: - Your character may choose to add a building or some other element (park, orchard etc) into Asylon. If you are unsure whether the element you want to add is okay, lemonyh on discord.
- Your character may receive a gift of an item. This item must be based on a shop item, and can be an accessory, armor or weapon with up to 20cs value. The item will make its wearer unusually lucky whenever they are in danger, allowing them to survive unlikely encounters (mostly) unscathed. The item may be designed by you and submitted for approval in the chat. Note that this is not a relic or a god item and while the design can have some fantastical elements relating to Digend, it is not sentient nor can it alter the wearer’s design.
- Your character may wish for a specific person to join them in Asylon. This will make that character (NPC or PC) hear the wish in their head, and gives them detailed instructions on how to reach Asylon. This may be used to bring a PC into Asylon without doing the quest for it. Invitation can be extended to any one character in any herd (as long as it makes sense IC). If they are not a Vagabond, this will allow them to do a free rank change into an unaligned Vagabond of Asylon. Please be clear what character you are summoning if you choose this option.
To receive a gift the character must react IC in the plot!

A U R O R AFemale | Missionary | Vagabond
Aurora is numb, brain running a hundred miles an hour and yet not at all. The booming echoing voices of the gods behind her have forever etched fear into her veins. They are beings that should not be trifled with, tampered with, ever. Feeling the security of Asylon wash over her, the mare can't help but let out frightened sobs as they move the crystal into place. the brightness surrounds the frightened pegasus like a warm blanket and with a couple deeper breaths she finally feels safe, at home and ready for some quiet time.
As the city expands, the mares eyes shimmer. There is more room, more space for those seeking safety, refuge. It makes her heart soar and as the crystal seems to whisper through her body, Aurora lifts her head. "A herbatory or a first aid home, please..." Her voice is soft, still rough from the outing and the fright that lingers within her veins. "I'm so glad we are all ok..." A small touch to Sinarin's side and the pastel rainbow pegasus drops her eyes closed for a moment of stillness.

Alois
As the crystal finally joined its place in Asylon, Alois couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief. She did not know what happened of Argus, but she didn’t truthfully care much. The mare watched as the crystal grew brighter until it became blinding. It asked of their desires. As others spoke, Alois took time to think. She couldn’t help but think of her wife. She wanted to be by her side again, but not there. She thought Albella would have found her by now, but it had been a couple months now. She had to decide, hold onto faith or move on. Her heart dropped. She could never forget Albella, nor Jupiter, but they weren’t here and she didn’t know when they would be again. She took a breath. “I have felt a sense of comfort in Asylon, maybe I could have a home? Nothing extravagant, just a humble place to lay my head...” she thought aloud. Alois was looking down, as if she wasn’t willing to acknowledge the choice she had just made- except she had to. She squeezed her eyes shut and brought her head up again. She opened them to look at the others around her. With them, she would start her new life. Yes, a new life. 220

'No one who was sober would ever believe that Argus walked Hireath once again, let alone that I saw him. By all rights the entire journey should be an epic tale. Intrigue, Danger, Theft, Romance, Magic, and now Argus. Truly a tale for the ages... If only I could figure out how to make it believable.' The stallion thought to himself as he moved with the others.
The pink energy washed over Enigma as he turns his head to watch it race out and push the borders of Asylon. The pure potential of the crystals power swirled around the Tri coloured stallion whispering with almost anticipation. Promises of riches and safety held little sway with him unfortunately. Truly all Enigma wanted at this stage of life was to keep searching out new stories. Although the promise of a safe retreat later in time was something Enigma could get behind. "Simply a compass that always leads back to this amazing city would be enough." The large stallion spoke to the raw arcane power floating in the ceiling.
Enigma was semi aware of his fellow equine's wishes and words, As the magic twisted and arced to fulfill his fellows wishes and dreams Enigma found himself worrying about Digend being all alone against Argus. As well as thinking that maybe stealing from a god would come back to bite him in the rear.

Lillie Vagabond - Bard
......
A wave of relief washed over the hippocampus when she entered Asylon. Her home, her safe haven. From the day she lived in Asylon she never felt any moment unsafe. Even now when she had an encountered Argus who clearly wasn't too happy that they took their crystal, she felt safe knowing Digend would protect her.
After the crystal emit a blast of pink light through the city, she walked to the edge of the platform to see the city expand. With a bright smile she looked towards the crowd, and with a little glimpse she spotted her family; her husband Dylan and her daughter Marigold. They were cheering and smiling brightly at her. With the eyes of husband filled with proudness.
But before she could run towards them, the platform she stood on rised to the ceiling where the crystal they got joined with the other crystal. Within her, she felt a desire to something she had missed from her days as a roaming bard. "I would like a tavern." While the request may seem odd to others, it ment a big deal to her. Most of her life taverns were her home.

Sinarin;Vagabond|Missionary/Thief
The stallion considered himself a pure professional, so the fact that he hadn’t thought of a rope but Persephone had sent a shard of raw embarrassment through his core. He declined to answer her thought, instead just flinging the hybrid mare a wry grin as he quickly lashed himself to the makeshift harness to help haul their prize home.
It took some effort and concentration but they finally made it back to the Sanctum. Thankfully the energy needed for the task kept his mind from the standoff between the gods, which was something he wasn’t sure he really wanted to dwell on -- except the fervent hope that Digend would make it out unscathed, for she was dealing with a much older deity.
When they finally got the crystal pushed into place, Sinarin sucked in a deep breath, before flinching and turning to shield his eyes as bright pink light spilled forth to enact changes upon the city he’d come to cherish. He could see Asylon grow, hear cheers as denizens saw what was happening.
The thief’s heart lifted with good cheer at the good deed they had managed to accomplish, pleased that he had done something for his new found goddess. Silver eyes were warm as they landed upon Aurora, and the sweaty equine reached out to pull her close to his side, quickly checking for any injuries, though a grin of relief and triumph curved his lips.
“We did it,” Sin murmured into her ear, tone warm with a hint of giddiness, a result of the adrenaline still coursing through his veins. He blinked a moment later though, finally feeling the...expectation hovering in the air, coming from the crystal.
Like it was asking something.
Digend was giving them more?
The Missionary was surprised, but very pleasantly so, gratitude for his goodness surging for a moment as he listened to those around him ask for things. Of course Aurora would ask for a place of healing, the sweet thing that she was. Sinarin looked at her a moment, gaze dropping to the beautiful necklace about her dainty throat.
“Would I...be worthy of a necklace now?” the dual colored stallion inquired, voice soft and hesitant enough that perhaps only Aurora, the crystal and his goddess, and those who happened to be close beside him would hear. It might have been a selfish request, but that didn’t bother him in the least. He just...well, he had the feeling Digend accepted and believed in him enough to have sent him on such a mission for her, but he still felt the need for further validation. It might be silly, but that’s how it was.

Persephone | Missionary
Alongside Alois, the pair of them managed to get the crystal all the way to the sanctum, supported on either side by their fellow Vagabonds. The last few steps seemed the longest, to be completely honest, and as Persephone made her way up to the platform, and they managed to set the crystal on its' pedestal, the missionary let out a sigh of relief.
Watching the crystal in wonder as it begins to spin, she has to squint a little as it grows brighter and brighter, seemingly happy to be in it's rightful place, to be used and not sitting in a dusty old shed. Gone was the dim lifeless appearance, and Persephone felt like they had completed a job well done. The blast of light and energy that rushed outwards from the crystal rushed over her, and she turned, watching the light spread out over Asylon, and to her excitement, seemed to expand the border of the safe haven. New buildings, parks, fields all appeared where the light trailed out from, and only the platform raising the crystal up and through the ceiling was able to tear her gaze from the window.
Persephone can feel the crackling energy of the crystal as it joins the other, and she feels the crystal asking her for direction, what she would like to see. Closing her eyes, she envisioned a large sanctuary for animals, wild and familiars alike, for her to help care for them and keep them healthy and happy; pretty much what Asylon was to her. From the crackling of the energy, she could tell, somewhere out there, a sanctuary exactly like she'd dreamed of was manifesting itself, perhaps in gratitude. Closing her eyes, Persephone let herself rest in the currents of the arcane energy, once again, sending another prayer out to Digend, both as a thank you, as well as a hope that her Goddess was okay.

Your wishes granted, you stand in the Sanctum. From the outside you can still hear the excited atmosphere, but also some worried questions. You can’t quite make them out, but you can guess what they are about - many must have seen Digend go out, ready for combat.
The questions are soon answered. The storm does not break, but Digend appears in front of her Sanctum, unharmed. People cheer. They shout her name and sing her praise, the praise of their protector, the God who Cared. After the crowd grows silent, Digend speaks.
It is thanks to you that I am unharmed. It is our faith in each other that will make us strong. Strong enough to withstand Argus, or any of the gods.
She looks at you, now. Although she does not have a mouth, you can sense her smile.
You have done me a great service. I am thankful. And excited for all that we can build together.
The god nods at you, deep and respectful. She then takes wing, rising above the crowds who call her name. Around you, Asylon still grows.
To Asylon!
Digend’s voice booms throughout the city, and the crowds answer in kind.
“To Asylon!”
To us!
“To us!”
