Miles | Pirate
After the toast, the Flight members seemed interested in getting a move on and figuring out where they were going to place their new base of operations. It was the reason why they were out at sea to begin with. Samael, first, listed off the agreed upon locations that were deemed best for the winged equines. Some locations were close, while others more further out, all of them with their own sets of pros and cons. Miles was relieved that he wasn’t apart of any decision making this time around. The members seemed to drift off into separate groups with the seasick pegasus going to join the mule, while the others seemed more interested in what the captains had to say. Miles wasn’t sure if he should try and give any information he had on the locations to the two by themselves or to stay by the captains. While he was trying to make up his mind, Sunil had finished explaining the Isle of Blood and Samael was starting to talk about Wander’s Way. Ears perked and twisted as his captain called him out, asking him to talk about Skull Cove. Blinking, and trying to gather his thoughts quickly, Miles turned his gaze to Hyperion and Renata. “ Ah, uhm, yes, I am. My previous employer, Captain Ceto, was keen on setting up her own base of operations on Skull Cove…” he trailed off for a moment, memories of the flashy octopus hippocampi and her daughter coming back. It had been shame to part from them, but it had to be done. Samael had offered more, and Miles hadn’t be disappointed yet. In fact, the two had slowly even become friendly towards one another thanks to all the recent happenings. Clearing his mind, Miles continued. “ Skull Cove is probably one of the larger islands, which means you won’t run into someone else easily. It’s a popular spot for rogues to hide treasure, so if you’re lucky and don’t get caught you can always add to your growing collection from wares left behind. The island is full of resources and is far enough to be out of the way, but not too far to be a burden when it comes to travel. I think your only issue is the fact that it’s just a go-to for other crews. If you can share the space, or find a place deeper into the island that lazy rogues won’t travel to, you’ll be good.” He glanced over to Samael, hoping that was enough information for the Flight members.

Jerusalem| The Flock Jerusalem tipped his head thoughtfully as he considered their many options. He cleared his throat and broke into the conversation, despite the fact his nerves sparked when everyone's eyes turned toward him.
"I think we could check out all the options, if at all possible. The Isle of Blood, while useful for recruiting might not be the most useful place to live. Between being so close to the mainland and the trouble we could stir up with the Laics, I personally don't see us making our base of operations there. We have enough enemies as it is without having to constantly watch our backs in our own safe haven. Being so close to the mainland could bring Talori or other unwanted attention to us. I know it would be more inconvenient to be further away, but you can't deny that that would be the most logical option."
He paused and took another sip of tea for courage. If someone had told him two weeks ago that he would be voicing his opinions in front of some of the senior members of two different factions he might've laughed in their faces--or called them downright crazy.
"Wanderer's Way seems to have the most infrastructure set up. We might not have t0 start building from the ground up if the existing structures prove to be sound. Skull Cove could be just as rewarding if we're willing to put in more work. It could prove to be difficult, keeping our presence secret from the occasional rogue, but the idea of buried treasure could be worth the risk."

JUNIPER, Flight Striker
________________________________________________________ Juniper watched with diligent eyes as Jerusalem wandered over. Rain was generally not a problem for her as long as she focused on her water manipulating keeping her dry; ensuring the safety of all other Flight members while on a slippery boat would probably drench her anyway, then. A light shove to her flank distracted her thoughts, and she swung her head around to look at Jerusalem, who looked a bit shocked at the contact; she couldn’t help but let her ears flick back in a silent warning anyway. “Watch it,” she snapped quietly, anger uncoiling in her head at the opportunity to let out some frustration, but before she could even think about pettily bumping back, Hyperion’s voice drew her focus.
She listened with furrowed brows as the Commander introduced himself to the two captains, and as soon as he turned to the Flight, June tried straightening her posture and smoothing over the creases in her forehead; although her mood was tense from being stuck on a ship with strangers, she could at least pretend to be focusing on their mission. She thought about apologizing to Jerusalem, but simply hoped that the donkey hadn’t taken her anger to heart.
Crescent leaned over and added her own two cents about the weather, and while June found herself hoping it’d stay this warm, the roan mare from before said to not only watch the weather up above, but also what was down below. June’s gaze fell to the wooden deck of the ship, head tilted to the side in confusion, before realizing she had probably meant the murky waters beneath.
With a shake of her head, she zoned back into the conversation between Hyperion and the captains, just to realize that the mopping pirate (who had now long stopped mopping, but the nickname stuck) had gone to fetch drinks. Ginger tea, he said, to help with the sea sickness; June sniffed the cup once, then twice, and still didn’t even take a sip as Sunil toasted to their alliance. If all the other members got poisoned, at least June could still flee and report back.
After Sunil’s toast, their little gathering dispersed, and Juniper saw Renata and Hyperion heading toward the two captains; eager to not miss out any details about their mission, she joined them just in time to catch Renata ask for the places the pirates had in mind for their trading post. Sunil started talking about the Isle of Blood, a name that was all too familiar around Aquore; she’d first heard it after Milo started visiting it more frequently when they were younger. Her parents had always been tight-lipped around the subject of rogues and pirates, so she never formed much of an opinion herself. Putting up a camp right on the Isle of Blood would probably draw a lot of attention, but their name wasn’t unknown around pirates anyway; Juniper guessed the island would be the most plentiful in resources, but also the most dangerous, if the words of the recruiters who visited it regularly were anything to go off of.
Samael took over to explain what the Wanderer’s Way was, which was a name June had never heard before; if it was as quiet and secluded as he said, it’d probably not be worth it setting up a trading post there - she kept this to herself for now, hoping Hyperion would think the same. No matter how long it took to create this alliance, there’d only be payoff with a well-stocked camp, and for that, they needed merchants and resources around. She turned to the mopping pirate who she now knew was called Miles and listened to what he had to say about the Skull Cove. So far, none of the options seemed that enticing to Juniper; her head turned to Jerusalem when he cleared his throat.
"He's right. We already recruit around the Isle of Blood, so making an even bigger name for ourselves there wouldn't be a smart move. We don't know how many resources there are on Wanderer's Way, and I'd rather not risk running out of supplies with vagabonds and rogues around. If we do our best to stay out of trouble, I think Skull Cove could be the most promising."

Calypso | Pirate
Calypso took the cup with her teke and dipped her head back to the other pirate. She began to take a few sips, a smile of satisfaction following afterwards. She gave a quick look around, As far as she was aware everyone else had gotten the tea. However the look on Samael's face when he took a swig of his made her think otherwise. She chuckled and held her cup up for the toast, 'to our allies and future business partners' as Miles said. Allies and future business partners, the thought amused her. Funny, it was for her to be on a ship discussing trading posts, It sounded as if she was buddied up with a bunch of pretentious merchants instead of a gathering of rogues and flight members. Some flight horses began to meet up with the two captains on the nav deck to discuss the route that they were taking, and where to put their 'little shop' as Calypso thought of it.
She took a couple more swigs of her cup and began to make her way over towards the clump of equines on the navigation deck and came within earshot of Samael's discussion. The Isle of Blood wasn't a place that Calypso went to often (minus Port Lorin/The Gutters), but she was familiar with the place. It was useful for getting items that could get rid of certain people that crossed you the wrong way, albeit for quite a sum of shards or if you were. You also had to take into account the eccentric laics who didn't like others interfering with their business. Skull Cove, she knew, was a place where rogues stored their booty. She'd probably tried to dig up treasure there a couple of times, but whether or not she had ever been successful alluded her. It was a good option, but you had to deal with your fare share of rogues. Then, there was the last one. She hadn't stepped foot in Wanderer's Way, but she had a vague idea about the island. It was the furthest out and she knew that it was used as a rest-stop for passing ships.
She listened to what the other rogues had to say about the different locations before voicing her opinion to the group. She looked to the mule who'd mostly said a few sentences for the whole trip. She took it that he wasn't the most sociable equine in Hireath. "Think less about trouble and more about the possibilities. Sure, the locals like to be left alone and really that's all you would have to do. There's a lot of valuable resources on that island." She paused. It was a risk, but either way it looked as if they were leaning more towards Skull Cove and Wanderer's way. She added on to Juniper and Miles' comments. "True, they can be a hassle. However, a few shards in their pockets and most wouldn't give two shits about you." Calypso heard Miles mention Ceto, and remembered her bickering with another rogue captain: Kraken. Calypso continued speaking. "And if that doesn't work, you could always resort to what you do best." The last bits of rum in her cup sloshed around before she sculled the rest of her drink.

Sentinel Commander WC: 525 | Post 5 Sunil started with the Isle of the Blood, and Hyperion listened intently. It would be an easy choice for a trading outpost, as they already had a foot in the door there. Sunil was also right in that regard. It would have its advantages, but it also sounded as if a trading outpost there might cause more harm than good. A trading post was different from just recruitment also. Being close to the mainland (and the Aerie) sounded nice, but it also put the pegasus on edge a bit. The Isle would be an easy choice, and because of that he kept an open mind for the other locations, and listened to what the Rogues had to say.
Wanderer's Way was the furthest from their base of operations, and closest to the open sea. It would make getting ships in rather easy and painless, as there would likely be less traffic and obstacles. Quick to escape from also without meandering through other islands. But being further away had its downsides. It meant there would likely be longer voyages. Sam made it sound rather good, especially with the fact that there are already some structures in place. They'd likely be rotten out and rather useless, but could provide a good foundation.
And then Hyperion listened as Miles described Skull Cove. The island was between the other two, and much larger. It sounded as if it might be more dangerous, with other Rogues potentially not liking the Flight taking up some residence there. It could be a good option, but Hyperion wasn't too sure.
He let his Flight members talk first, hearing their opinion before he stated his own. Jersualem voiced some of what Hyperion had liked about Wanderer's Way, as well as the risks of being close to the mainland if they were to choose the Isle.
It sounded as if others agreed that the Isle wouldn't be ideal, so Hyperion let himself scratch that one off. It would be better to spread themselves out and set up bases in as many areas as possible. Juniper made good points too. There was the risk of running out of supplies before another ship came in, but he also wasn't sure if the idea of getting into unnecessary fights at Skull Cove was any better. They had enough to deal with with Talori. But that could also just be his political mind speaking. He was one to avoid a fight if possible, preferring words to violence. There were many in the Flight who would be up for a fight, which wasn't really what the commander wanted either. But Skull Cove might offer more opportunities for trade. If they could get along with the Rogues who passed through, the Flight might be able to earn more allies and trading partners.
"Thank you all for offering the information and also opinions. I'm personally leaning towards Skull Cove, even with its dangers. It could provide more opportunities for the Flight." He looked to the Flight members, letting more give their opinion if they wanted. If not, Hyperion would be happy to go and see what Skull Cove was like in person.

Renata | Flock
Renata listened closely to what was being said, considering the options. If the main objective of the base was to strenghten their alliance with these rogues and strenghten trade routes, then they had to keep these rogues’ opinions in account.
Though Hyperion had already spoken, she decided to add her own insights: “The isle of blood seems like the least favorable options. If we are to strengten this alliance it will not to good to disrespect these horse’s privacy. Skull cove is close to the mainland which could be favorable for operations but if this is were loot -” she flicked an ear, the world feeling foreign in her mouth. “-is stored, they may not look kindly on us for settling in their hiding place. I think Wanderer’s way gives most trading opportunity as not only with the alliance but also with vagabonds. It gives out directly to sea which may make it more easy for ships to arrive. We might be able to add value for the alliance to this known rest stop as well by making this trading post. The only set-back would be how unknown resources are. If we run out that would prove problematic as it is a long trip to the Aerie.”
She nodded, having said her thing, allowing for the others to take the word again.

Whitaker closed his eyes for a moment to feel the ship's movement under his feet. The tea helped his unsettled stomach, but it was no cure-all, and focusing on staying upright was his best bet to ease his ills.
His comrade's opinions fell one at a time, and with each voice Whitaker felt his own preference falter. Wander's Way sounded like the most obvious choice- it was far away from the mainland and rarely visited- but he wouldn't be the only one to vouch for it. Jerusalem had mentioned it, but didn't seem totally convinced himself.
Once Hyperion expressed his favor for Skull Cove, Whitaker swung his ears back and lowered his nose. Though this was a casual discussion, he wouldn't verbally disagree with his commander unless prompted for his honest opinion. He didn't want to chip at Hyperion's image in front of the Rogue captains; it would reflect poorly on their inner leadership.
But sweet, angelic Renata didn't have those reservations, and as if she could read his thoughts, she calmly posed Wanderer's Way as the most plausible destination.
Feeling newly courageous with her support, Whitaker stepped one hoof forward. "I agree with Renata. The more out of sight we are, the better. All three locations are far from the Aerie- that shouldn't be the deciding factor."

Sentinel Commander WC: 355 | Post 6 He listened closely to what the others had to say. It was a good insight into what they were thinking, and he honestly appreciated all of their opinions. He didn't want to be the type of leader that made a decision and just went with it. He knew there were other's that might have better ideas, or reasons for picking something.
Renata made good points, many of which he had considered as well. It made him have second thoughts for leaning towards Skull Cove. He didn't mind changing his mind, as they hadn't made a final decision yet. It may look indecisive to the Rogues, but he didn't really care. Let them think what they wanted to, but he also thought they would appreciate an open minded commander. It was different from how Talori operated under an Emperor, and Hyperion was no emperor. He wanted to be approachable, and willing to change. Change was what they sought, after all.
Whitaker piped up, Wanderer's Way garnering favour from him as well. Hyperion gave a slow nod, thinking over his own choices. If more of the Flight would feel more comfortable at a place like Wanderer's Way, then he would too. He figured it would be more of the Striker's voicing interest in Skull Cove. "All good points also. Many of which I considered. It's tough for me to choose between Skull Cove and Wanderer's Way. I'm trying to look at it from every angle, and both have their advantages it seems. I'm not entirely sure we need the dangers that Skull Cove would bring. We could deal with resources being short, but more fighting from others would not be ideal. Based on what has now been said about Wanderer's Way, I think that might be a better option." He gave a wry smile, knowing he had previously said Skull Cove. Hyperion gave a sorry smile to Juniper on having changed his mind. The commander didn't want anyone to think he didn't appreciate what they had said, but he had already been a bit torn. Wanderer's Way just seemed to be the better option after more thought.

S U N I L
rogue alliance
......
Sunil watched as the Flight listened to each of the rogues give their information on the locations. Personally, he'd choose Wanderer's Way. It wasn't too close to the other rogues, and the Flight was already in trouble with the mainland. Who was to say, they wouldn't mess up their alliance with the rogues, or become enemies with those they hadn't talked to yet? Choosing Skull's Cove probably wouldn't be profitable for them, they'd have to maintain a certain distance from the other rogues, and they'd risk fighting, if they got too close to someone else's loot. Nay, Skull's Cove was probably Sunil's least favorite choice. Last was the Isle of Blood. Neither a good nor a bad choice, but full of resources and infamous enough for its inhabitants, so that the Mainland probably wouldn't get too close.
He looked to Renata for a moment, nodding along with her words. Despite the less than ideal first impression he'd gotten of her, with changing forms without realising, she did have some good qualities. She seemed smart enough.
There was almost some type of entertainment in watching the Flight decide and changing opinions, as they heard more of each location. He felt himself sigh in relief, as the blue-winged pegasus suggested Wanderer's Way, he was the authority, so they'd probably listen to him. Besides, it seemed Wanderer's Way was deemed more appropriate. "May I suggest that we get closer to Wanderer's Way then? We'll pass Skull Cove first, should you wish to get a closer look before making a final decision. But it seems the Isle of Blood is out of the question, so no sense in staying here" He suggested, looking at each of the Flight members, before turning his attention to Samael, who'd have to steer the ship.

Rogue Alliance l Captain
"Any damn fool can navigate the world sober.
It takes a really good sailor to do it drunk."
References l Playlist l Moodboard
Samael nodded, stumbling over to the ships helm before grabbing it firmly in his teke. "That's likely your best course of action mate." He said, glancing at the one called Hyper-something or other. Shaking his head, he realized maybe he was still a bit more hungover than he would have cared to admit. Shifting his gaze to Miles, he held up the now empty cup the younger stallion had brought him, motioning for the pirate to refill it. "So where to? Straight to Wanderer's Way, or a detour to Skull Cove first?" He asked, spinning the ship's wheel around as he barked orders to his crew. A smile crept over his lips as the sea breeze brushed his mane away from his face and filled the large billowing sails overhead. There would never be a better feeling in the whole of Hireath. He glanced around at the members of the Flight, calling out to them as he did. "If any of you are up for a challenge, there's plenty of work to be done, and the more hooves on deck to do it, the quicker and easier this whole venture will be!"

......
Crescent honestly hadn't been paying attention. Her eyes strayed from the conversation, towards the sea beyond. Milo at her flank chirped.
No.
“But consider. Yes.” Milo sighed, walking away from the mare. She looked about, her eyes calculating as she twisted about and about. The conversation moved without her, and now she was lost. Her mouth twisted into a frown, as she opened her mouth.
“Wanderer’s Way?” She said as an answer, looking up at the rogue captain who scrambled to steer the ship the way this ‘wanderer’s way’ was. Apparently. She wasn't the smartest of horses. Her tail whipped about behind her, as her ears perked and flicked.
“I can help!” She chirped when the call for jobs went up, her ears perking and wings ruffling, shooting open. She was good at labor at least. The one thing she could do. She grabbed her scythe from its sheath, bouncing it in her teke.
“Whaddya need?” Crescent grinned. It probably wouldn't require her scythe, but hey, she could show off. If there was one thing she could do.

Miles | Pirate
While the Flight mused amongst themselves about the possibilities, Miles stopped paying attention to the flow of the conversation. His eyes wandered to the ocean, staring at the calm waters. He wasn’t sure how long he had been just staring off into space when Sunil’s voice broke through. He was suggesting they head off to Wander’s Way to let the Flight step upon their new hideaway. Well, that was easy. Samael moved to take the wheel, a bit unceremoniously. He shook his head, smirking a little until Samael shoved his empty cup in his face, a quiet request to refill it. Miles took the cup as the captain started shouting orders to the rest of the crew, and decided to collect everyone else’s cups. If they were going to help out, they were going to need free teke. “ ‘Scuse me,” he said, pulling the cups from everyone and descending back under the deck. He chucked the dirty cups into a basin to be washed later, refilling Sam’s cup with fresh water. As he appeared on deck again, he trotted over to his captain, using his blessing to make sure the water stayed in the cup as his bouncy trot sloshed the water about. He handed Sam the newly refilled cup just as Crescent came up asking for a job. He looked to Samael then back to the feisty mare, nostrils flaring for a second. “ If it’s alright with the captain, feel free to unfurl the sails so we can let the winds start pushing us along. With your wings, it’ll be easy for you to untie the knots. Try to not cut them…” He eyed her scythe again as his voice quieted. “ Captain, I’m assuming you’ll have Sunil help you navigate to the island. Let me try to find work for the others.” Miles left Samael and approached those without jobs. He eyed Whitaker first. “ Help your...weapon-friendly friend with the sails. I’m sure taking flight will help ease your stomach some more. Just untie the ropes, the sails will fall on their own.” He looked to Hyperion. “ Since you seem to be in charge, feel free to join the captains by the wheel.” Eyes fell on Jerusalem, Renata and Junpier. “ Help me with the ties. They loosen up every so often, so it would be best to check on them and tighten them. You two-” he nodded to Renata and Juniper, “- start at the bow and make your way back here. I’ll take you-” he looked to Jerusalem, “ -back to the stern. One of you check the ties on the port side, the other the starboard. Double the hooves means we’ll finish this in no time and you can go back to enjoying the ride.” That just left Calypso. She was a rogue without a crew, and he wasn’t sure how much knowledge she had of ship life. She’d probably be best as a lookout for now. “ Calypso, feel free to head to the bow and look out for landforms. I don’t think you’d want to make the climb to the crow’s nest…call out if you see anything.” He turned back to Jerusalem, giving him a small smile before walking towards the back of the ship. “ Let’s go, shall we?”

Timeskip to late afternoon/dusk, same day
With the sun slowly rolling across the sky, and the heat growing more and more unbearable as the day wore on, the Bloody Siren's crew settled seamlessly into their roles. The captains steered the great ship far out from Aquore's mainland while the Flight waited in nervous anticipation, busying themselves with the tasks Milo assigned. The landform bobbed on the horizon by dusk. Waves lapped its empty shores, glowing orange in the fading sunlight. Except for the lolling of the ocean and the groans of the Siren, silence shrouded the place as if untouched. The air grew suddenly cool as if a northern breeze suddenly blanketed the sea, rustling the light palms and foliage by the shore. A shiver of excitement ran through the Siren. Wanderer's Way sat ready for them.

Jerusalem || The Flock Jerusalem inhaled deeply as they approached the mysterious island, a spark of excitement and anticipation rattling him down to his bones. Until now, the entire journey had seemed surreal. It had been a long time since he'd left the Aerie and it had been enough to feel the sun on his face and smell the spray of the sea. Now Wanderer's Way was waiting for them and everything they'd been preparing for sharpened into focus.
He glanced around and saw that the other Flight members were regarding their destination with the same mix of apprehension and eagerness he felt. He turned to look at Miles, grateful that the pirate had given him something to do to pass the time. The last few hours had been spent keeping themselves busy. Everyone was anxious to go exploring, to take this island and map out places to live--to make it their own.
"We're here." The words echoed and they seemed inadequate as they tried to fill the silence. A few seagulls wheeled overhead through the unbearable sun. It beat down on the ship like it had a mission to make the masts catch fire. Embarrassment sliced through him as he caught everyone's attention, but it was thankfully short-lived. The pirates sprang into action as they bustled about, dropping anchor as they prepared to disembark. He cleared his throat. Something was on his mind, though he wasn't entirely sure he should be the one voicing it. "Will the rogues be accompanying us to shore? We might want the extra hooves if we run into trouble."

Calypso | Pirate
Calypso scanned over the equines around her as the flight members came to a decision. There were a few back-and-forth comments about Skull Cove and Wanderer's Way, especially from the dappled pegasus and Renata, but from the looks of things, they settled on the latter and would soon be heading off. Not too shabby of an outpost in her opinion, but she knew little about the tiny island. It looked isolated enough, well, more isolated than Skull Cove was anyway. They also probably preferred less confrontation, given the dappled pegasus' choice of words later on. 'fighting from others would not be ideal.' True, even Calypso had to consider this, but sure was it fun. Better to not get the entire rogue alliance out for their hides.
The two captains said a few words and Samael was soon gathering himself at the wheel. 'there's plenty of work to be done, and the more hooves on deck to do it, the quicker and easier this whole venture will be!' Calypso cracked a smile out of amusement, and possibly out of excitement too. She was relieved that they weren't going to waste their entire lives away bickering over a trading post. Miles had stepped forward earlier to take all their empty cups away, and now he was assigning jobs to the flight members as if they were crew. They had to be useful somehow after all. He gave all of them something to do, including the red one that kept waving that bloody scythe around. Eventually, he came down to give her a job. Lookout duty. Her eyelid twitched ever so slightly as she tried to stifle a laugh. What could've been more boring than that? As if she hadn't felt useless enough yet with all the trade talk. Now, jewels and shards, that was another matter. She snorted and began to turn until her ears pricked at the mention of a crow's nest. "Is that a challenge?" She gave off a devious smile to Miles as she began to trot over to the mast. Fucking watch me.
---
Well that was a terrible idea.
She was pretty sure it had taken her a whole hour to get up here, and gods knew how long it would take for her to get back down again. At least the breeze up at the top gave her some relief from the climb, and from the wrath of Ignacio's firey ass. If the dizzying heights or constant rocking back and forth was bad enough the boredom was even worse. The sun travelled across the sky as the hours began to add up. She kept squinting in the distance, waiting for something to pop up from under the horizon. By the time she'd spotted something vaguely resembling a shape the sky was painted with orange streaks. It took her a few blinks (and some more squinting) to realise that what she was seeing wasn't an illusion. Her head jolted up and she called down to everyone below, trying to think about what sailors would say when they spotted land. "HEY! LAND!" She hoped they heard her, she didn't really have anything else to grab their attention, but she didn't think that they'd appreciate her bombarding them from above if she did. There was an eerie silence as they approached their destination, although the donkey mule probably said something judging from some of the movement below. Speaking of below, she probably needed to find a way to get down from here, and preferably quickly too.

JUNIPER, Flight Striker
________________________________________________________ Juniper can't help but feel a little disgruntled as she hears Whitaker agree on Wanderer's Way. The others seemed to agree it was the best choice out of the three as well - everyone except Juniper, apparently. If they ran out of resources so far away from the Aerie, their only other reliable source of backup and supplies, the trading post would slowly but surely wither away. She kept it to herself, not looking to start an argument around the pirates, but couldn't help the displeased look she sent Hyperion's and Whitaker's way. If any Flight member fell to a rogue's ambush out on the Isles, it certainly wouldn't be her fault.
She quickly got distracted by Miles, who ordered - ordered - her and Renata to check the ties at the bow. If being commanded around by a stranger made the anger in her stomach flare, then having to wait for Renata to make the first move because she had no idea where the bow on a ship was made her nearly combust into flames. Cascade grant her patience - she'd need it if she didn't want to be the sole reason for why this alliance would fall apart.
Checking the ties was boring, but made time pass quicker than usual as the sun slowly passed it's highest spot on the sky and started to sink low. Just before Juniper could voice her worry about arriving at dark, a distant voice - Calypso, she recalled - called from somewhere on the boat. "Land," was the only word Juniper could catch, but as soon as the pirates heard it, they bustled into action, assumingly to lower the anchor and bring the ship to a stop. Juniper felt out of place standing in the middle of it all, and instead moved to the side, where she could see the beginnings of an island on the horizon.
She briefly wondered how the rogues were going to accompany them to land - the Pegasi could just fly the rest of the way, but would the others swim? She blinked at Jerusalem, who apparently had a similar train of thought. While she'd love to simply ditch the pirates and be alone with the Flight again, they knew the territory better than them and could help with any ambush or attack.

Miles | Pirate
The journey was a very uneventful one. The sun beat down on them as the groups set out to work on the tasks he had assigned. Miles found himself walking amongst the Flight members, helping them with the ties and any questions they had, and finding amusement in watching Calypso make her way up to the crow’s nest. The menial tasks were soon over and they could rest, though Calypso did take awhile to get to her destination. The day dragged on, and Miles found himself unable to find busy work. He decided to head to the crew chambers and get some much needed rest. “ Hey! Land!” Sitting up quickly, Miles blinked the sleep out of his eyes as he looked around the dark chambers. How long had he been out? Stretching and shaking the sleep out of his mane, Miles returned to the deck to find the orange and pink light of early evening. Looking out, Miles caught sight of the island, slowly enlarging as they sailed closer. He trotted up to the bow and looked over the side of the ship to stare at the water, catching sight of fish and coral. Due to the untouched nature of this island, he figured swimming in its waters would be such a sight to see. He, then, realized he had work to do and pulled his head up and twisted around to help the rest of the crew into slowing the ship down for Samael to steer them safely to shore. His ears flicked back as he overheard Jerusalem ask if the pirates were going to follow them onto the island and looked to the captains. That was up to them, not him.
