= A S H E R =Serora Skirmisher
WC: 271 | Post 6 Asher's stare penetrated Oriole, and she gritted her teeth at the quiet insult to Aodh- whether the other horse knew it or not. "Years to learn proper reading. Reading at advanced levels, something you might not have in your... prehistoric herd." While she no longer felt a true affinity to Aodh, it was hard to shake off the years of living there and to not be defensive when it came to how she grew up. She knew that not all herds looked at reading apprehension as a skill, but she believed it was, and was proud that Aodh made sure its horses could read. "Basic understanding of the written word would be more plausible in a short time." She looked away from the mare, starting to greatly dislike her and her thoughts.
So it appeared that was that in terms of the deal, which only made Asher to continue rolling her eyes. It was so typically Seroran to trust so willingly and to take on an offer with barely a forethought. She wanted nothing to do with this, as it would surely crash and burn. "Now don't get too excited. None of us are part of the Council. We truly have no ability to make a deal like this, and the Sultan might very well back out of it once we can get word out." At least, she hoped they would; she did not know Sultan or their ways. Sighing, the unicorn turned, signalling to Reid and his companions. "Come on, but only because there are dangers that could be lurking. I won't have any cave dwellers killed on my watch."

Conner|Kuwaru Outcast
Conner's dark brown eyes rolled as the one equine, Asher was it? Continued to berate them. He recognized that she probably had her reasons, but clearly the unicorn wasn't exactly well versed in the idea of tact. "I can assure you, the Kuwaru are far from prehistoric." He said, unable to keep the slight edge from his tone. Not anywhere near the might of the true Aodh. He finished in his head, before his eyes slid to the others. They seemed much more receptive to the ideas posed by his fellows.
An appreciative glance was thrown towards Reid when he said that their efforts would not go unnoticed. He quietly nodded, pushing his glasses further up his scaled snout. Any edge in the breimian herd was one he'd take. He had plans, and in order to execute his plans, he'd need to shed his moniker of outcast for something more favorable.
As Asher agreed to house them for the night, Conner adjusted the hood on his cloak, making sure it still covered his scales. Maybe later he'd pull it down and reveal himself, but for now he was still skeptical. He dipped his head towards the others and waited for Reid to follow after Asher, then turned to follow his arisen.
